Turkey-Q Stew Print E-mail

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lbs. Turkey Breast
  • 1-15oz can red kidney beans
  • 1-15oz can black beans
  • 1- Cup corn
  • 1- Cup okra
  • 1- Cup thinly sliced carrots
  • 1- Medium onion
  • 1- Can diced tomatoes (28oz)
  • 2/3  cup medium barley
  • 1 ½ cup turkey drippings
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • ¼ cup mushrooms
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 3 cups water
  • 3/8 cup Mark’s “RED” Bar-B-Q Sauce
  • ¼ cup Mark’s “ORIGINAL” Bar-B-Q Sauce

Directions

Cook turkey breast in crock pot until done.  Reserve 1½ cups of drippings for use in stew.  Combine all ingredients and cook on stove at medium heat until thickened.
